Applications are invited for the Kings College London Scholarships 2024. Awards give students the chance to receive an education. Thus, in order to support students, King’s College London offers qualified students a fully funded scholarship. Funding is available for the 2024–2025 academic year. Students can study in London for their PhD or master’s degree.
Under this scholarship, the college offers a variety of majors and academic fields for students pursuing postgraduate degree programs. All of the costs will be met by the scholarship. Established in 1829, King’s College London (KCL) is the oldest public research institute in London. KCL currently hosts over 33,000 domestic and international students. This university is ranked 35th in the world by QS World University Rankings.

Award Details
Chevening scholarships are open to applicants from over 160 countries and territories around the world, looking to study an eligible one-year taught master’s degree at a UK institution.
Whilst there is no ‘typical’ Chevening Scholar, we are looking for the kind of people who have the passion, ideas, and influence to provide the solutions and leadership needed to create a better future.
Because these scholarships are fully funded, you are free to focus on achieving your professional goals and maximizing the experience of a lifetime. You will live and study in the UK for a year, during which time you will develop professionally and academically, network extensively, experience UK culture, and build lasting positive relationships with the UK. On completing your studies, you will leave the UK equipped with the knowledge and networks necessary to bring your own ideas to life.
Award Value
Chevening scholarships are fully funded, covering flights, accommodation, and course fees. As part of a partnership agreement between Chevening and King’s College London, scholars who are funded by these scholarships receive 20% cover towards their tuition fees from King’s.
Application Process
Applications are made directly to Chevening. The process of selecting Chevening Scholars takes a minimum of eight months from the application deadline to when applicants are conditionally selected for an award. Timeline for the next competition

These are the university’s established assessment periods during which most UG and PGT examinations will be held. However, not all students will have examinations during each period. Please check with your faculty for further information and refer to our article on the exam timetable.
Attendance & holidays
- Normal hours of operation are 08:00 – 18:00. These are the times in which you should expect teaching, learning, and assessment activities to be timetabled.
- If you are a Postgraduate Taught (PGT) student, you are expected to work on your dissertation/project throughout the summer.
- If you are a Postgraduate Research student (PGR), you should agree on vacations in writing with your supervisor.
