In collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation, the American University of Beirut (AUB) is offering full scholarships to overseas students for the academic year 2023-2024. The program grants full scholarships to academically promising graduate and undergraduate students with modest financial resources who are concerned about their communities, proactive in their surroundings, and believe in their abilities to make a difference.
The American University of Beirut’s Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program is now accepting applications from overseas students interested in pursuing graduate studies in Lebanon.

Eligibility Criteria:]
To be considered for AUB’s Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, the following factors must be met:
- Languages required: English
- Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Sudan, Libya, Somalia, Djibouti, Mauritania, Comoros, and Other African Countries are eligible.
- Graduate scholarships are available to African, Lebanese, and refugee and displaced people residing in Lebanon.
- Academic promise, financial disadvantage, leadership potential, and a desire to give back and return to one’s community are all factors in selection and admittance.
- All tiers of official university transcripts
- Application for Graduate Studies (apply online).
- 2 letters of endorsement
- The IELTS or TOEFL exam is necessary.
- The GMAT is necessary for admission to the MBA program. Some majors in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences require the GRE.
- Fees for applications ($50 or L.L.75,000)
