Eligibility

International students are eligible.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Students who are chosen must attend AEON-sponsored events. A scholarship award ceremony in early July, scholar gatherings, tree-planting efforts in the local community, and other activities connected to environmental protection, international culture, inter-personal exchange, and rehabilitation of local culture and communities are among these events.
  2. This scholarship is open to residents of the Asian nations and regions listed below who are 35 years old or younger as of April 1, 2022. Cambodia China Indonesia Korea Laos Malaysia Myanmar Philippines Taiwan Thailand
  3. Those who do not have a scholarship from another foundation (Travel grants and entrance fee grants are not considered scholarships.)
  4. Those who are unable to pay school expenses
  5. Those with good conduct and high scholastic ability
  6. Those whose Japanese language skill is at least intermediate (Level N3) on the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test.
  7. Those not receiving any other scholarships
  8. Those who live in their home country at the time of application.
