Scholarship Description:
Domestic students can apply for the Women in Maritime Engineering Scholarship 2023. The scholarship enables Masters’s level programs in Maritime Engineering delivered at the University of Tasmania. The scholarship deadline is December 31, 2022. The Institution of Tasmania is an Australian public research university with its main campus in Tasmania. It is Australia’s fourth oldest university, having been founded in 1890. The Centre for Maritime Engineering and Hydrodynamics at the University of Tasmania’s specialized school, the Australian Maritime College (AMC), is giving excellent scholarships to young women in order to enhance female involvement in maritime engineering programs. Scholarship for Women in Maritime Engineering 2023 is an amazing chance for female students to advance their careers in Maritime Engineering, one of the hardest and most lucrative professions of engineering.

Scholarship Benefits:
The scholarship will pay the cost of on-campus housing for one year (up to $8,200). Students must apply for housing through the University of Tasmania Accommodation Services (https://secure.utas.edu.au/accommodation/future-residents/application).

Eligibility Criteria:
- Domestic female students who meet the Australian Tertiary Admission Ranking ATAR 70 or above in 2022 and begin a study on the Launceston campus in Semester 1, 2023, will be awarded scholarships for any undergraduate maritime engineering courses with specializations in naval architecture, ocean engineering, or marine and offshore engineering offered by the Centre for Maritime Engineering & Hydrodynamics.
- To keep your scholarship, you must be enrolled full-time and obtain a minimum Pass grade in all units. Because scholarship payments are issued in advance each semester, you must finish the semester for which payment was made; otherwise, the payback may be required.
