Scholarship Description:
International Students are welcome to apply for the Kawaguchi Shizu Memorial Scholarship at the University of Tokyo in 2022. The scholarship covers master’s level programs at the University of Tokyo in the field of All Subjects. The scholarship deadline has passed, and it will expire on February 1, 2022.
Degree Level:
Kawaguchi Shizu Memorial Scholarship University of Tokyo 2022 is available to undertake Master’s level programs at the University of Tokyo.

Scholarship Benefits:
Duration: April 2022 to March 2023
Amount : 60,000 JPY/month (Master’s student), 70,000JPY/month (Doctoral student)
Eligible Nationalities:
International Students
Eligibility Criteria:
| (1) | Privately financed international students from Asian countries who are studying at, or allowed to be enrolled in a graduate school in Japan as regular students with college visa status. |
| (2) | Those who are 34 years old or younger at the time of application. |
| (3) | Those who have good academic performance, and need financial assistance. |
| (4) | Those who do not receive other scholarships. |
| (5) | Those who have a Japanese language proficiency certificate TOPJ with advanced C level (JLPT not accepted). |
Application Procedure:
Applicants must email the following documents in PDF to ILO, and submit the originals at the ILO office. Submission by postal mail is also accepted.
