Scholarship Aid

  • A monthly stipend while enrolled in the American university for a total of 12 months, which may be split into two periods if necessary. One or two round trips from Morocco to the American host university are covered by the funds for Joint Supervision.
  • Reasonable fees at the American host university, pending MACECE and the American co-supervisor’s approval;
  • a $1,000 budgetary allotment for books and supplies;
  • Medical insurance for the grantee’s time in the United States; a $1,000 allowance for the purchase or lease of pertinent academic equipment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applications without commitments and consent from professors in both Morocco and the United States will be denied.
  • Applications must include a dissertation proposal examination by the American co-supervisor as well as the Moroccan director of the thesis.
  • For the paper-based test, applicants must get a minimum TOEFL score of 477 or an IBT score of 53. Candidates in the humanities must get at least 500/61
