The UQ-India Equity Postgraduate Coursework Scholarships (UQ India Asha Scholarship) were created in collaboration with Asha, a non-profit organization whose mission is to work with urban poor people to improve their quality of life over time, regardless of their background, caste, or religious beliefs. Because of UQ’s collaboration with Asha, young people in Delhi’s slums now have access to higher education.

Eligibility
- The following criteria will be used to evaluate you:
- ability to follow the selected path of study
- ability to adjust to studying and living in a foreign country
- exhibited a willingness to “pay it forward” or “give back” to his or her community, particularly by sharing his or her story and motivating others.
How to Apply
Interviews, shortlisting, and student selection will be handled by Asha, who will submit one to three pre-qualified candidates for each scholarship opportunity.
