Scholarship Description:

A scholarship will be offered to second-year or higher students who have great academic records and good behavior.

Special scholarships are divided into two categories. Students in Type A receive half of a year’s tuition plus book fees, whereas students in Type B receive only half of a year’s tuition. Every year in April, the administration announces the eligibility of unique pupils. This is not a system of open recruiting.

College of Law Scholarships (Type 1)

Forty percent of one year’s tuition will be awarded to students with excellent academic records (equivalent to those of students awarded special scholarships) and of outstanding character. This is not based on an open recruitment system.

Nihon University Centennial Scholarship for International Students

This scholarship is available for privately sponsored international students with excellent academic records and character, who are not receiving a special scholarship or other scholarships from the university, and who are not government-sponsored international students or students dispatched by foreign governments. Students are awarded half of one year’s tuition. This is not an open recruitment system.

Nihon University Tuition Reduction and Exemption for Privately Financed International StudentsThis is a system for privately financed international students. It aims to mitigate the financial burden on students by partially reducing their tuition fees, to enable them to continue and concentrate on their studies at NUCL. Criteria are set, such as academic performance and financial status. Those who pass the screening will receive a 20% reduction in the amount equivalent to one year’s tuition. Applications are usually accepted during the spring semester.
